“We started on a quest to create the healthiest and most sustainable skincare product we could imagine.”

Hello!

Claire and Frankie here. Thanks for stopping by our website.

Our journey into the world of skincare was prompted around five years ago when Frankie’s mom, Sarah, began suffering from contact dermatitis. Everything from hand soaps and laundry detergent to lotions and perfumes became potential cause for an itchy, inflamed reaction. Even as she began exploring “natural” products, the reactions continued.

Then we discovered tallow balm.

As she slowly replaced her regular skincare routine with a tallow-based regimen, we watched in amazement as her breakouts stopped completely.

That’s when we decided to try making our own tallow balm. We made it first for ourselves, our family, and friends, and slowly but steadily began to hone in on our unique methods and formula we share with you now.

Since we both have degrees and work experience in the fields of Environmental Studies and Sustainability, we made it our quest to create the healthiest and most sustainable skincare product we could imagine. After all, the skin is our largest organ, and we believe anything we put on our bodies should as safely be put in our mouths. Every single ingredient that goes into our product is a part of the existing food system, from our locally and regeneratively pastured tallow to our cold pressed organic hemp seed oil and nourishing botanical infusions.

Now, after years of thoughtful research and development, we have a product we can stand behind with confidence, both in its excellence of quality and in its integrity of human and environmental impact from seed to sale.

We are beyond proud to share Fauna with you today!
